After school programs are sponsored by the ABC Community Partnership.

After School Programs

All after school programs are from 3:45 to 4:45. Students are required to stay for the full session. Students will only be released early if they are picked up and signed out by their guardian.

Monday through Thursday

Proper archery techniques are introduced and taught, allowing students to become proficient in the art of Archery.

Art Club

Monday and Thursday

Art Club allows students to create different and new types of art, exploration of 2D and 3D art, as well as an avenue to enjoy and appreciate the Arts. By meeting in the morning, this club serves as a way to decompress and start the morning off in a creative and relaxed mindset.

Makers Corner


Makers Corner allows students a space where they can build and create the many different ideas the come up with! Mediums/Resources such as wood, plastic, recycled items, t-shirt creation and 3D models are all part of the fun!



Mariachi instruments are introduced and taught using a variety of practices leading to student performances.

Model United Nations

Monday (7th & 8th grade)

Tuesday (6th grade)

Students represent a country and attend a middle school conference as a delegation. They discuss and resolve world problems, ranging from violent conflicts, environmental issues, human rights abuses, and issues related to world health and gender equality.

Running 505 is a community partner to WMS, providing a program that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, motivation, and self-discipline.

Tabletop Gamers


Students will use a variety of boardgames to improve their critical thinking skills while having fun!

Tennis Club

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

The USTA, and NM Youth Tennis Foundation teach the fundamentals of tennis insuring that students fall in love with the sport of tennis!

Voices in Action


Voices in Action builds student empowerment and leadership skills that allow the student to become a leader within their community.

Young Philanthropists


Young Philanthropists set an example of kindness, help the needy, volunteer, and fundraise for causes that are important to the WMS community.

Gay Straight Alliance (GSA)

2nd Tuesday of Each Month

The WMS GSA is a safe place for LGBT students and straight allies to meet, socialize, and support one another.  We advocate for a safe and inclusive school for everyone.
